KRISANT is an insecticide of vegetable origin based on natural pyrethrin obtained from extracts of chrysanthemum flowers, which acts by contact and offers a rapid penetration (not systemic). The pyrethrins reach the sodium channels of the insect's nervous system, where they penetrate rapidly through the cuticle, causing muscle paralysis and, finally, the death of the insect. Although the impact effect of pyrethrins is very fast, their persistence of action is weak. This allows many applications without risk of resistance.
